About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Business Head – Solar Division to establish and lead our renewable energy business. The role involves driving growth across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government Solar Projects while building the division into a profitable and scalable business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Solar Division’s business strategy.
- Lead Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Projects, Operations, and Service functions.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability across solar market segments.
- Build and manage high-performing teams.
- Develop strategic partnerships with customers, EPC partners, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Establish efficient systems, processes, and performance metrics.
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, EPC, or Power sectors.
- Strong leadership, business development, and operational management skills.
- Sound understanding of the Indian solar market and regulatory environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of scaling businesses or profit centers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 12–18 years of relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5–8 years in a leadership role within Solar, Renewable Energy, or Power Infrastructure.
