Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and high-impact Business Finance Leader to lead the finance charter end-to-end, partnering closely with leadership to shape business strategy, strengthen unit economics, and drive scalable, profitable growth.
You will play a key role in building a public-company-ready finance organization, contributing to Licious’ IPO journey and long-term value creation, while driving financial rigor and efficiency across a supply chain-heavy business.
What makes the role meaty?
- Act as a strategic finance leader to the Founders, CFO, and leadership team, influencing high-stakes decisions with data-backed insights.
- Own end-to-end P&L for the business, including revenue, margins, supply chain costs, and overall profitability.
- Play a key role in the company’s IPO readiness and public-market journey, including building scalable financial processes, strengthening reporting rigor, and supporting investor-facing narratives.
- Lead annual operating plans, long-range strategy, and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with business and IPO goals.
- Drive deep understanding and improvement of unit economics, contribution margins, and cost structures across categories and channels.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders (Category, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, Product) to drive performance and unlock growth opportunities.
- Build robust frameworks for tracking and improving key business KPIs (growth, margins, CAC, ROI, inventory turns, wastage, etc.).
- Drive pricing strategy, discounting frameworks, and promotional effectiveness to balance growth and profitability.
- Lead high-impact initiatives across cost optimization, margin expansion, and operational efficiency.
- Build and lead a high-performing business finance team, driving capability, ownership, and strong business partnership culture.
We hope that you have..
- A CA / MBA with 15+ years of experience in Business Finance and Strategy Finance.
- A strong experience in supply chain-heavy businesses (FMCG, consumer tech, D2C, e-commerce, or food/operations-led companies).
- A proven track record of owning and driving P&L, unit economics, and large-scale business performance, with deep expertise in supply chain, procurement, and operations finance.
- Demonstrated the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment across complex organizations.
- Strong leadership capability with experience in building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams,
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, high-ambiguity environments.
