About the Team
The Business Finance team at Navi plays a crucial role in driving business performance across different Business Verticals. They provide valuable insights on cost and revenue, supporting data-driven decision-making and shaping key business strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
About the Role
This role is pivotal in supporting Navi’s investor relations team and business finance functions by driving the preparation of key financial materials and insights. You will play a strategic role in analysing business performance, monitoring market and competitive trends, and delivering actionable recommendations. The position demands proactive relationship management and clear communication with senior leadership, including the Board of Directors. You will also lead prioritisation and delegation within the team, while identifying strategic gaps and opportunities to enhance Navi’s financial and business strategies.
What We Expect From You
- Preparing & managing the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting
- Long term strategic planning and liquidity management
- Analysis of variance from plan and business targets
- Driving business profitability by working with various teams to improve margins, reduce costs and enhance overall returns
- Developing industry perspective by analyzing competitors and market studies
- Facilitating financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management
- Supporting management in executing business strategies to achieve targeted KPIs
- Working with business groups to identify gaps and areas of improvement
- Working with the Financial Controllership team to ensure accurate financial representation of business through MIS and consolidation
- Prioritisation and delegation of tasks within the team
- Identifying gaps and areas of improvement in all the fixed costs and providing independent insights
- Solving payment issues of customers with internal (Product and Tech Team) and external stakeholders (PG and Banks)
