Role Description This full-time, work-from-home Business Development Trainee role focuses on identifying, engaging, and converting prospective learners and families for Bhanzu’s math programs. On a day-to-day basis, the trainee will generate and qualify leads through inbound and outbound channels, conduct outreach via calls, emails, and messages, and schedule or conduct product demos or counseling sessions. The role includes researching markets and customer segments, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and following up with prospects to support enrollment decisions. The trainee will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and academic teams to refine outreach strategies, share customer insights, and meet or exceed defined targets. This is a remote role that requires consistent availability during assigned shifts and a strong focus on delivering a positive, informative experience to every prospective learner.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build trust, and clearly explain Bhanzu’s offerings.
- Lead Generation and Market Research abilities to identify potential customer segments, gather insights, and build qualified pipelines.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance against targets, and refine outreach strategies based on results.
- Comfort with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic productivity software to manage leads and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle high-volume outreach.
- Interest in edtech or education, especially in K-12 learning, with a willingness to understand Bhanzu’s math curriculum and pedagogy.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Flexibility to work in fast-paced, target-driven environments and openness to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning.
