Role Description This is a full-time, work-from-home Business Development Trainee role focused on growing Bhanzu’s global learner base. The trainee will identify and qualify prospective learners and families through outbound and inbound lead generation, calls, and online outreach. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, understanding customer needs, presenting Bhanzu’s programs, and guiding interested prospects through the enrollment process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, following up consistently to nurture leads, and collaborating with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize conversion strategies. The Business Development Trainee will provide clear, empathetic communication to families and learners, contributing to an excellent customer experience in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle inquiries professionally across phone, video, and messaging channels.
- Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to understand target segments, track trends, and interpret data to improve outreach and conversion.
- Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing a pipeline using CRM or similar tools.
- Motivated, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage time effectively.
- Comfort with technology, online meeting tools, and basic productivity software; prior experience in EdTech or sales/business development is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience in customer-facing or sales-related roles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to serve learners across multiple time zones, as needed.
