Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Trainee to support our business engine by identifying, researching, and qualifying high-quality leads using AI-driven workflows, with a pathway to move into client conversion and account handling within 6–12 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct AI-assisted market and company research to identify high-potential leads and partners
- Build and maintain structured lead databases (ICP-based targeting, not random lists)
- Use AI tools to: generate outreach angles, personalize messaging and extract insights from prospects
- Craft high-quality personalized outreach
- Support lead qualification calls
- Assist in pre-sales documentation
- Work with leadership to refine targeting strategy and outreach experiments
- Track metrics: response rate, meeting rate and qualified lead
- Maintain CRM hygiene (HubSpot or similar)
- Continuously improve outreach using feedback loops
Qualifications
Mandatory- MBA (Marketing / Sales preferred)
CORE SKILLS-
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High curiosity and learning agility
- Structured thinking (not random effort)
- Ability to break down problems and research independently
- Hands-on experience using AI tools
- Understanding of prompting basics
- Using AI for research, summarization, and outreach drafting
- Awareness of Tools- LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot and Excel / Google Sheets
