We are seeking a motivated and commercially savvy Business Development Specialist – Data Centers to join our team.
1) Opportunity Identification & Market Development
• Research and qualify new business opportunities across hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise customers.
• Support expansion into adjacent technologies and emerging markets within the data center ecosystem.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
2) Customer & Partner Engagement
• Build and nurture relationships with OEMs, integrators, consultants, and channel partners to influence buying decisions.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions for strategic accounts.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote offerings and strengthen brand presence.
3) Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
• Manage the sales cycle for assigned opportunities, from initial engagement through contract closure.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure visibility and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to achieve growth targets and KPIs.
4) Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to look ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Provide feedback from customers and partners to influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
You Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within data center or mission-critical infrastructure markets preferred.
• Familiarity with technologies such as liquid cooling, thermal management, or leak detection is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and a disciplined approach to pipeline management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40%.
