Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Business Development Specialist (B2B). The specialist will focus on lead generation, conducting market research, building customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Responsibilities include managing inbound leads, executing outbound prospecting and calls, handling client communications, understanding business needs, presenting tailored solutions, and contributing to overall sales pipeline development and growth strategies. Collaboration with internal teams to refine sales strategies and meet targets will also be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Prior exposure to working with small and medium businesses (SMBs) or within the fashion/bespoke/tailoring domain is strongly preferred
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess market trends and identify potential business opportunities
- Proficient Communication skills to engage with clients, facilitate presentations, and build professional relationships
- Experience in lead management (inbound) and outbound calling/prospecting
- Customer Service skills to understand client needs and provide ongoing support
- Proficiency in CRM software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Ability to independently manage time and priorities effectively
