We're hiring a Business Development Executive to help WriterOnRent grow its content, web, and digital marketing business across India.
If you enjoy the chase of finding new clients, the satisfaction of closing a deal, and the long game of growing an account, this role gives you all three.
What you'll do
Generate leads — cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls; build and qualify a steady pipeline.
Close deals — run discovery calls, pitch our services, prepare proposals, negotiate, and bring clients on board
Grow accounts — stay close to existing clients, spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and drive retention.
Read the market — track competitors, gather feedback, and share insights with leadership
What we're looking for.
Must-haves
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfort with cold outreach — calls, emails, LinkedIn DMs
- Basic understanding of digital services (SEO, content, web development, marketing) — or strong willingness to learn fast
- Working familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and at least one CRM
- Self-driven and accountable — you own your numbers

- Prior business development experience in a similar or related industry — content, digital marketing agencies, SEO, web development, SaaS, or B2B services
- Existing network among marketers, founders, or SMB decision-makers
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools (Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly) or proposal tools (PandaDoc, Better Proposals)
