Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in the Zirakpur district Mohali. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation across target markets. Day-to-day activities include connecting with customers, conducting market research, analyzing trends, preparing business proposals, and supporting strategic partnerships with healthcare and pharmaceutical stakeholders. The specialist will engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs, deliver product information, and maintain strong, service-oriented relationships. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to align business development efforts with product capabilities, marketing initiatives, and long-term growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, present solutions, and respond effectively to client inquiries.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to evaluate opportunities, assess competition, and interpret data-driven insights.
- Candidates should possess proven Lead Generation experience and business development capabilities to identify prospects, qualify leads, and support conversion into long-term accounts.
- Relevant skills such as negotiation, sales planning, and basic understanding of pharmaceutical or healthcare markets are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Zirakpur, manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software for tracking leads, preparing reports, and documenting interactions is an advantage.
