Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Business Development Specialist at Skillofy_AI. The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach, lead generation campaigns, and relationship building with prospective learners, corporate partners, and institutional clients. The role includes conducting market research to understand customer needs and industry trends, contributing to go-to-market strategies, and supporting sales initiatives for both tech and non-tech programs. Responsibilities also involve maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, coordinating with marketing and product teams on promotions and partnerships, and preparing proposals, presentations, and reports. The specialist will ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the sales cycle, respond to inquiries, and provide feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills to engage prospects, manage relationships, and deliver a positive client experience.
- Proficiency in market research and analytical skills to assess opportunities, segment audiences, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience in lead generation and business development, preferably in edtech, SaaS, or related sectors.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline using CRM tools, track performance metrics, and meet or exceed growth targets.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with AI, technology education, or professional upskilling programs is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
