Job Summary
Shriram General Insurance is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and drive revenue growth. The role involves building relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders while promoting the company’s insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Generate leads and convert them into customers or business partnerships.
- Promote and sell insurance products to individuals, corporates, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to generate leads and close sales effectively.
- Understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Target-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the insurance or BFSI sector.
- Familiarity with corporate sales, channel sales, or field sales.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of local market dynamics and customer behavior.
