Job Description – Business Development Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager with strong enterprise IT sales
experience across IoT, AI/ML, SaaS, Cloud, and custom software development. The role requires
ownership of the full sales lifecycle, including strategic prospecting, consultative solution
positioning, commercial negotiation, and long-term account expansion. The ideal candidate will
drive high-value enterprise engagements and contribute significantly to revenue growth through
structured pipeline management and strategic market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the complete enterprise sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
and account expansion.
• Acquire new business opportunities across IoT, AI/ML, SaaS, DevOps, Cloud, Enterprise
Software, and Staff Augmentation services.
• Engage CXOs, IT leaders, and procurement teams through consultative and value-based
selling approaches.
• Lead preparation of RFPs, RFQs, SoWs, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Structure pricing models including Time & Material, Fixed Cost, Dedicated Teams, and
Managed Services.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and delivery teams to develop tailored enterprise
solutions and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Build and maintain a 3X–5X qualified sales pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual revenue
targets.
• Drive expansion into new industry verticals and geographic markets.
• Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors and ecosystem players.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Required Experience & Skills
• 6–10 years of enterprise IT sales experience in IoT, AI/ML, SaaS, Cloud, DevOps, or Software
Development.
• Proven record of closing high-value enterprise deals (n30 Lakhs – n2 Crores+).
• Experience in long-cycle B2B enterprise sales (3–9 months).
• Strong understanding of IoT platforms, AI architectures, data analytics, and cloud ecosystems
(AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience in selling staff augmentation, managed services, and dedicated engineering teams.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen including pricing strategy and margin awareness.
