About Samosa Interactive
Samosa Interactive is building practical digital products for real business problems. One of our key offerings is a logistics operations platform with a dashboard and driver app designed to help transport and logistics companies simplify daily operations, improve visibility, and reduce dependency on WhatsApp, manual follow-ups, and scattered spreadsheets.
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist who can help us take the platform to logistics companies across Kerala.
Role Overview
This is a high-ownership, field-and-phone sales role for someone hungry to learn and sell. Your primary responsibility will be to identify logistics and transport companies across Kerala, connect with decision-makers, introduce the solution, create interest, and move leads toward meetings and closures.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is confident speaking to people, comfortable with cold calling, and serious about building a career in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build a database of logistics, transport, fleet, and cargo companies across Kerala
- Research target companies and find relevant decision-makers
- Reach out to prospects through cold calls, WhatsApp, email, and other outbound methods
- Clearly pitch the platform and its offerings in a simple, convincing manner
- Understand the prospect’s current problems and qualify whether they are a strong fit
- Generate genuine interest and book meetings for the senior team
- Maintain proper follow-up with leads and keep the pipeline active
- Update lead status, responses, meeting notes, and next actions in a structured way
- Share daily/weekly progress updates on outreach, responses, meetings booked, and closures in progress
- Continuously improve scripts, objection handling, and outreach quality based on market feedback
What We Are Looking For
- 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, telecalling, or lead generation
- Freshers with strong communication skills and high intent are welcome
- Comfortable doing cold calls regularly
- Good spoken Malayalam and English; Hindi is a plus
- Strong confidence, persistence, and people skills
- Ability to handle rejection and keep going
- Organised in maintaining leads, follow-ups, and updates
- Willingness to learn the product properly and pitch it with clarity
- Interest in B2B sales, SaaS, logistics, or tech-enabled business products is a plus
