We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to play a crucial role in our India office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, increasing revenue, and building strong relationships with clients and customers.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc. preferred).
- 5–8+ years’ experience in freight forwarding sales (based on seniority).
- Understanding global trade, Incoterms, and documentation is preferred.
- Existing customer network in international freight forwarding is an advantage.
Key Contribution:
Business Development
- Identify, target, and acquire new customers in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Generate inquiries, create pipelines, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
Account Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to retain and grow business.
- Understand customer supply chain needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by coordinating with operations, pricing, and customer service teams.

Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop weekly/monthly sales plans aligned with company targets.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Pricing & Quotation
- Liaise with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Resolve customer issues proactively in collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in sales meetings, business reviews, and strategy discussions.
