We’re hiring a Business Development professional for a leading FMCG organization to lead East Africa markets (Kenya + region).
📍 Location: Kenya (only open to candidates currently based in India and willing to relocate)
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue and profitability across Kenya & East Africa
• Manage and strengthen distributor and partner relationships
• Own forecasting, annual business planning, and promotions
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams
• Identify and enter new markets across East & Central Africa
• Expand product portfolio and increase market penetration
• Conduct market and competition analysis (pricing, share, positioning)
• Ensure compliance with local food & cosmetic regulations
Ideal Profile:
• 5 - 7 years of FMCG sales experience within Food or Personal Care sector
• 3+ years in Business Development / Modern Trade / Export
• Experience managing distributors / key accounts
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• High ownership and execution focus
• Willingness to relocate to Kenya and travel extensively
