Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive with a strong background in industrial automation, particularly within Electrical and Electronics domains. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on executor to drive business growth through market analysis, new venture identification, partnerships, and business vertical expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


Market Research & Analysis:

  • Identify new and emerging markets in industrial automation, especially in electrical and electronics segments (solenoids, sensors, valves, etc.).
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Create in-depth industry trend reports to support strategic planning.

Business Development & Expansion:

  • Develop and execute business development plans aligned with Janatics’ long-term growth strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate new business verticals, product lines, and sectors for diversification.
  • Propose and establish joint ventures, strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance reach.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

  • Generate qualified leads through industry networking, trade shows, cold calling, and digital platforms.
  • Convert leads into profitable business through tailored presentations, proposals, and negotiations.

Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and industry leaders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Janatics in industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences.

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Support product and service launches with go-to-market strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams like R&D, Sales, and Product Development to align offerings with market demand.

Reporting & Strategy:

  • Regularly report on business development performance, pipeline health, and market opportunities.
  • Provide inputs for pricing strategy, brand positioning, and promotional activities.


Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E.) – preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA in Marketing or Strategic Management will be considered a strong advantage.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, preferably in industrial automation or allied industries.
  • Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical/electronic components such as solenoids, sensors, motors, control valves, automation systems.
  • Experience in conducting SWOT analysis, competitor benchmarking, and preparing business cases.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
