Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in Ernakulam. The position involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing lead generation activities, and nurturing prospective clients through the sales funnel. The specialist will conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs, and will use these insights to support proposals and presentations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining strong communication with clients, coordinating with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The role also includes tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to strategies that expand Inter Smart’s market presence.

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate market opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, negotiations, and internal collaboration.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and follow up on prospects across relevant markets.
- Candidates should possess Market Research capabilities to analyze trends, competitors, and customer segments.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to maintain positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management in digital solutions or related industries is beneficial.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, technical, and operations teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
