Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the personal care and cosmetic manufacturing sector. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, managing private label and third-party manufacturing projects, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and negotiation skills along with a deep understanding of the cosmetic and personal care industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Generate leads for private label manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and custom formulation services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and brand owners.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and product portfolios for clients.
- Coordinate with R&D, production, procurement, and packaging teams to fulfill client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
- Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of inquiries into successful business deals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
- Maintain and update customer records using CRM software.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to promote company products and services.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and post-sales support.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Cosmetics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
- Experience in the Personal Care, Cosmetics, Skincare, Haircare, Essential Oils, or FMCG industry preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent market research and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets under pressure.
- Knowledge of private label manufacturing and cosmetic formulations will be an added advantage.
