About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and fluent communicator to join our growing team. You will be the first point of contact for schools — calling prospects, building relationships, managing leads, onboarding new schools onto our platform, and providing early-stage support. This is a high-ownership role where you directly impact our school network growth.
When needed, you will also visit schools, meet principals and administrators in person, and close deals on the ground. We are building Punjab's school network one relationship at a time — and that sometimes means showing up in person.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Cold Calling
- Research and identify new schools (private, CBSE, ICSE, State Board) in target regions
- Make outbound calls to school principals, directors, and administrators
- Pitch our platform clearly and handle objections confidently
- Update lead status in the CRM after every interaction
Field Visits & Deal Closure
- Visit schools, district education offices, and admin offices when required to build trust and close deals
- Meet decision makers — principals, directors, trustees — in person for high-potential leads
- Represent Micronerp professionally in face-to-face meetings and demos
- Use field visits strategically to accelerate conversions that stall over the phone
School Onboarding
- Guide newly signed schools through the onboarding process
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth setup
- Conduct initial walkthroughs and training sessions for school staff — in person or remotely
CRM & Reporting
- Add new prospects to the CRM with accurate details
- Maintain clean, up-to-date records of all calls, visits, follow-ups, and status changes
- Share weekly progress reports with the manager
Initial Support
- Handle basic queries from newly onboarded schools
- Escalate technical issues to the support team promptly
- Ensure schools feel supported in their first 30–60 days

Requirements
- Fluent English — spoken and written (mandatory)
- IELTS / PTE qualification preferred but not required
- Punjabi and Hindi fluency is a strong advantage for regional outreach
- 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, business development, or client servicing
- Comfortable with field visits and in-person meetings with school decision makers
- Own two-wheeler or reliable local transport preferred
- Comfortable with CRM tools (training provided)
- Self-motivated with strong follow-up habits
- Prior experience in EdTech or dealing with schools is a plus
