About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development & Sales professional with proven experience in selling gabion products, geotechnical solutions, slope stabilization systems, erosion control products, retaining wall solutions, and allied infrastructure materials.
The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, government departments, EPC companies, and expanding our presence in infrastructure and civil engineering projects across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in roads, highways, railways, mining, irrigation, river training, retaining walls, slope protection, erosion control, and infrastructure sectors.
- Generate leads from EPC contractors, consultants, government tenders, developers, and project owners.
- Expand company reach into new territories, states, and sectors.
- Build long-term client relationships for repeat business.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets.
- Promote and sell gabion baskets, mattresses, geogrids, geotextiles, slope stabilization systems, rockfall protection systems, and allied products.
- Handle complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to negotiation and closure.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations.
3. Project & Technical Coordination
- Understand project requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Coordinate with design, production, logistics, and execution teams for smooth delivery.
- Assist clients with product specifications, BOQs, approvals, and drawings.
4. Market Development
- Track upcoming infrastructure projects and tenders.
- Develop relationships with consultants, PMCs, contractors, and government bodies.
- Gather competitor intelligence and market trends.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5+ years experience in sales/business development of gabion, geotechnical, steel wire products, construction materials, or infrastructure solutions.
- Strong network in NHAI, PWD, Railways, Mining, EPC Contractors, Irrigation Departments, Consultants, Infrastructure Developers preferred.
- Good understanding of slope stabilization, retaining structures, erosion control, and civil engineering applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.kū
- Engineering background (Civil preferred) / MBA Marketing added advantage
