As we expand our operations, we are seeking a results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to grow our client base and deliver exceptional value in the Canadian market.
Role OverviewThe Business Development & Sales Manager – Canada Operations will play a key role in building and nurturing business relationships, identifying client needs, and successfully converting leads into long-term partnerships. This role involves outbound prospecting, tailored pitching, and working closely with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions to Canadian clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Outreach
- Research and identify prospective clients in Canada requiring branding, design, web and digital marketing solutions.
- Conduct proactive outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to initiate conversations.
- Understand client requirements and business challenges to offer tailored solutions from Thoughtful's service portfolio.
Brand Pitching & Conversion
- Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to decision-makers and business owners.
- Navigate the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation of terms.
- Maintain CRM records with detailed client interactions and deal progress.
Client Relationship & Retention
- Serve as a point of contact for Canadian prospects and clients throughout the engagement.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager post-sale to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to foster repeat business and referrals.
Sales Ownership & Pipeline Management
- Own and manage the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of leads and prospects with consistent follow-through.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Marketing); Postgraduate in Marketing (MBA/PGDM) preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in a branding, design, or digital agency, focusing on business development and sales.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, and website-related services.
- Proficient in using Zoho CRM or similar sales and pipeline tools.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in closing deals and achieving sales goals.

Compensation- Base Salary: ₹40,000/month
- Benefits: Mobile plan and conveyance reimbursed at actuals
- Incentives: Excellent commission structure based on achieved sales
Travel Requirements- Travel within India for meetings and events as required.
- A personal motorcycle and laptop are mandatory for everyday work and in-person client visits in India as needed.
Working Hours- Monday to Saturday
- Canadian Time: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
