Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Identify relevant nonprofits, philanthropies, and ecosystem stakeholders for outreach
- Research organizations to understand their programs, priorities, and alignment potential
- Compile accurate contact details including decision-makers, emails, and LinkedIn profiles
- Build structured lead lists to support business development outreach
- Maintain and update a clean and organized business development tracker
- Monitor lead status, last interactions, and next steps consistently
- Ensure timely follow-ups to avoid missed opportunities
- Prepare pre-call briefs with organizational context and relevant insights
- Attend calls and capture structured notes during discussions
- Synthesize conversations into clear problem statements, key needs, and actionable next steps
- Support the development of proposals, presentations, and concept notes
- Compile relevant case studies and organizational credentials
- Draft structured inputs and initial versions of proposals
- Draft follow-up emails and communication for ongoing conversations
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather and share required inputs
- Facilitate progress in conversations through consistent follow-ups
- Organize and maintain business development data and documentation
- Develop simple systems to improve tracking and operational efficiency
- Ensure all processes and information are clearly documented and easily accessible
