About Us
The Profit Pixel is a performance marketing agency led by Nishant Agrawal, a founder with 12+ years of experience in paid acquisition. We help D2C and other growth-focused businesses improve advertising performance across Meta Ads and Google Ads. Our positioning is simple: we create ads that outperform a brand's current performance in 60 days and build a roadmap to Rs 10Cr revenue. We value commercial clarity, strong follow-through, and ownership over activity for its own sake.
Job Description
We are hiring a Business Development Executive to own inbound opportunities from first contact through payment collection. You will call and qualify leads, book and coordinate sales calls, send proposals, follow up consistently, close suitable opportunities, and make sure new and overdue payments are collected.
This is not a lead-generation-only role. You will own the sales pipeline until revenue reaches the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Lead Response and Qualification
- Contact new inbound leads quickly by phone, WhatsApp, email, or the approved channel.
- Understand the prospect's business, current marketing setup, ad spend, growth target, decision timeline, and core bottleneck.
- Qualify whether the prospect fits The Profit Pixel's services, commercial expectations, and client profile.
- Record every interaction, next step, objection, and follow-up date in the CRM or sales tracker.
- Disqualify weak-fit leads clearly instead of keeping dead opportunities open.
Call Booking and Sales Coordination
- Book qualified prospects into the founder's or closer's calendar with complete context.
- Confirm meetings, reduce no-shows, and reschedule serious prospects when required.
- Prepare a concise pre-call brief so the sales conversation starts with the right business context.
- Coordinate any information or access needed before a discovery or proposal call.
Proposals, Follow-up, and Closing
- Send accurate proposals, pricing, case studies, and next-step communication after sales calls.
- Build a clear follow-up plan for every open opportunity instead of relying on random reminders.
- Handle common objections related to price, trust, timing, scope, and agency switching.
- Keep momentum through multiple stakeholders and long decision cycles.
- Push each qualified opportunity toward a clear outcome: closed won, closed lost, or scheduled next step.
Payment Collection and Receivables Follow-up
- Collect the initial payment required to start work and coordinate the handover to delivery.
- Track pending invoices and follow up before and after due dates.
- Follow up professionally but firmly on overdue payments until the matter is resolved or escalated.
- Maintain an accurate view of payment promises, due dates, receipts, and unresolved balances.
- Escalate collection risks early instead of allowing invoices to age silently.
Reporting and Pipeline Discipline
- Maintain clean daily records of new leads, calls made, qualified leads, meetings booked, proposals sent, follow-ups due, deals won, and payments collected.
- Share concise pipeline updates with the founder, including stalled opportunities and decisions required.
- Identify recurring lead-quality, objection, pricing, or process issues that reduce conversion.
- Follow agreed sales processes while improving them through evidence from real conversations.
Requirements
- Prior work experience in a marketing agency is mandatory. Applications without agency experience will not be considered.
- Experience in a performance marketing agency is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience speaking with inbound leads, qualifying prospects, booking sales calls, and maintaining follow-up discipline.
- Experience sending proposals and moving prospects through a multi-step sales process.
- Confidence discussing marketing services, business goals, budgets, timelines, and expected outcomes with founders or senior decision-makers.
- Strong spoken and written communication in English and Hindi.
- Ability to follow up repeatedly without becoming passive, careless, or unprofessional.
- High ownership of CRM hygiene, next steps, deadlines, and payment status.
- Comfort handling payment reminders and overdue-payment conversations.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience selling Meta Ads, Google Ads, creative strategy, CRO, or related agency services.
- Familiarity with D2C business economics, including revenue, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, contribution margin, and ad spend.
- Experience working with a CRM, proposal software, payment tracker, or automated follow-up system.
- A track record of converting inbound leads into paying agency clients.
- Experience recovering overdue client payments while preserving the commercial relationship.
This Role Is NOT For You If
- You have never worked inside a marketing agency.
- You think your job ends after booking a call or sending a proposal.
- -You avoid payment conversations because they feel uncomfortable.
- You need the founder to remind you whom to follow up with and when.
- You report activity but cannot explain pipeline movement, lost deals, or collected revenue.
Perks
- Direct exposure to the founder and the complete agency sales process.
- Practical experience selling performance marketing services to growth-focused businesses.
- Clear ownership of outcomes, with room to improve the sales system as the agency grows.
- Growth opportunities linked to sales performance, process ownership, and reliability.
- Final compensation, work arrangement, and additional benefits will be confirmed during the hiring process.
All the best :)
