Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive (Field Sales) to expand our solar installation business. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client meetings, site visits, proposal closure, and relationship management. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
· Generate new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and market research
· Meet prospective clients (residential, commercial, schools, offices, factories) and explain solar solutions
· Conduct site surveys and coordinate with technical teams for feasibility
· Prepare and present solar proposals, quotations, and ROI calculations
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and distributors
· Follow up on leads until successful closure
· Maintain sales records and update CRM regularly
· Represent the company at exhibitions, meetings, and networking events
· Stay updated on government solar policies, subsidies, and net-metering norms
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
· 1–4 years of experience in business development or field sales (solar/energy sector preferred)
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Ability to work independently in the field
· Basic understanding of solar rooftop systems (on-grid/off-grid/hybrid)
· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication
· Two-wheeler required; local travel mandatoryPreferred Candidate Profile
· Experience in solar sales, EPC, or renewable energy companies
