About Azure Jewel
Azure is a design-led fine jewellery house crafting contemporary jewellery in 14kt gold and natural diamonds. Built on over 15 years of manufacturing expertise for leading international retailers, Azure is now creating its own consumer brand with a focus on everyday luxury, thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship.
As we scale our retail presence across India, we're looking for someone who enjoys building things from scratch, identifying new opportunities and driving execution with ownership.
This is not a desk-only operations role. We're looking for someone who enjoys thinking strategically while also making things happen. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys research, meeting new people, managing projects, and seeing ideas come to life.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify new retail opportunities across India
- Research and approach premium multi-designer stores and boutiques
- Build relationships with buyers and merchandisers
- Develop partnerships with fashion brands, designers and lifestyle businesses
- Identify new cities and markets for Azure's expansion
Offline Growth
- Plan Azure's participation in exhibitions, trunk shows and pop-ups
- Research new events and opportunities throughout the year
- Build annual exhibition calendars
- Negotiate commercial terms
- Manage participation from planning to execution
Strategy
- Research competitors
- Study new retail concepts
- Suggest new growth opportunities
- Analyze performance after every event or partnership

- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Is comfortable traveling when required
- Has strong communication and negotiation skills
- Takes complete ownership without constant follow-ups
