The Report Company specializes in the production of special country reports with a key focus on business and investment that are distributed with a number of international newspapers such as Gulf News, USA Today, Newsweek, Die Welt, The Economic Observer and more.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be a recent graduate and report directly to our head of sales and be hugely involved in the opening of new country projects setting up meetings with both government and business leaders. You will aspire to identify the best new opportunities for the company and be thrilled at the possibility to be a key driver of our sales strategy from day one.

You will reach out to Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers, CEOs of the most representative companies bringing them communication solutions reaching the business investment community.
Commercial drive…
Here’s your chance to really convince the person in front of you and close the first sales opportunity. You will have the chance to see your results quickly, learn techniques to close sales and be part of a team that successfully publishes a country branding campaign.
Responsibilities:
- Research international markets and put together value proposition for country branding campaigns
- Keep abreast with current affairs particularly in the geopolitical arena and putting together proposals for potential opportunities for senior management
- Coordinating office related administration
- Research competition work and collating data
- Research international events taking place over the coming 2 years
- Make over 40 calls a day to schedule important meetings
- Prepare presentations and general correspondence as well as other general IT related duties
- Present potential projects to relevant personnel either on the phone or in person i.e. Visit the embassy of Morocco here in Madrid and request a meeting with the Ambassador of Morocco for the purpose of a special report we are completing on the country for El Pais.
- Support with logistics related issues such as visas, covid requirements, hotels and flight research for projects.
- Coordinate relevant project materials such as topics and transcriptions
Required Qualifications :
- Applicants must have native-level proficiency in English (other languages such as French or Spanish are a plus)
- Recent graduate, any sales BDR experience a bonus
- Well-organized and autonomous in their work
- Driven and committed to achieving their targets
