BlitzenX is seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our growing Insurance Technology and Guidewire services business across the US market. This role is focused on strategic outbound prospecting, account research, CRM intelligence management, and executive-level outreach to insurance carrier stakeholders.
This is not a generic sales or call-center role. The ideal candidate must be capable of researching insurance organizations, identifying decision-makers, executing multi-channel outreach campaigns, and securing qualified meetings for senior leadership and sales executives.
The BDR will work closely with leadership, sales, and delivery teams to help expand BlitzenX’s footprint across insurance carriers, Guidewire programs, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Research & Intelligence
- Research US insurance carriers, MGAs, InsurTech firms, and Guidewire ecosystem accounts
- Identify relevant decision-makers across Claims, Underwriting, IT, Architecture, Digital Transformation, and Guidewire leadership teams
- Build account intelligence profiles including organizational structures, technology landscape, and transformation initiatives
- Monitor industry updates, Guidewire programs, hiring trends, and strategic initiatives
CRM & Prospect Data Management
- Maintain accurate account and contact data within HubSpot CRM
- Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, RocketReach, ZoomInfo, Lusha, or similar platforms for contact enrichment
- Validate and maintain high-quality prospect data and avoid duplicate or inaccurate CRM records
- Organize contacts, accounts, and opportunity information using structured tagging and segmentation
Multi-Channel Outbound Outreach
- Execute personalized outbound campaigns through:
- Email outreach
- LinkedIn messaging
- Follow-up campaigns
- Account-based outreach sequences
- Draft concise, executive-level outreach messaging tailored to insurance stakeholders
- Engage prospects professionally to generate interest and schedule meetings for leadership teams
- Coordinate follow-ups and maintain outreach cadence consistency
Sales & Pipeline Support
- Schedule qualified meetings and discovery calls for sales leadership
- Support outbound pipeline generation initiatives across Guidewire and insurance technology services
- Track outreach activity, response rates, and engagement metrics
- Assist with outbound campaign reporting and pipeline tracking activities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, SDR, BDR, Lead Generation, or Outbound Sales roles
- Prior experience supporting US-based clients or enterprise sales teams
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, RocketReach, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools
- Strong internet research and organizational skills
- Ability to write professional executive-level outreach messages
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment aligned to US business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT Services, Consulting, Guidewire, Insurance Technology, SaaS, or System Integration organizations
- Familiarity with the US insurance industry and enterprise technology buying structures
- Experience with outbound sequencing and sales engagement platforms
- Understanding of account-based outreach strategies
