CAFS is one of India's largest airline catering, railway catering, industrial catering, and food solutions providers, producing close to one lakh meals a day. We operate large central production kitchens across 11 major cities - including Cochin, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Ahmedabad - built to international food safety standards (FSSC 22000, HACCP).
Beyond aviation and railways, our Food Solutions vertical partners with global brands and institutions that need a reliable, high-spec backend food supplier.
Job Objective
This role exists to take our Food Solutions business from inbound-led to actively driven. You will own the full commercial cycle, identifying and pursuing new B2B partners, running the inside-sales process yourself, closing partnerships, and then managing those accounts as they grow.
It is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who can sit across from a global brand's procurement and culinary teams, understand a complex food requirement, and translate CAFS's production capability into a long-term partnership. You bring the relationship in, and you carry it through to fruition.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and drive a new-business pipeline for the Food Solutions vertical across F&B brands, institutional clients, and emerging B2B segments
- Run the full inside-sales process independently - prospecting, outreach, qualification, and progression - without relying on inbound leads
- Understand each client's food requirements and translate them into tailored, high-spec production solutions delivered through CAFS's kitchen network
- Manage the partnership through to closure, onboarding, and ongoing account growth
- Act as the primary account manager for won partnerships, owning retention, satisfaction, and expansion
- Work closely with production, food safety, and operations teams to ensure proposals are deliverable to international standards
- Maintain accurate CRM records across the pipeline to support forecasting, account growth, and retention
- Stay current on food-service trends, brand requirements, and category developments relevant to CAFS's capabilities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree (Preferred)
- 3–7 years of direct B2B sales or business development experience (food solutions, food service, F&B, or FMCG preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to run a full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through to close.
- Consultative selling ability, with the aptitude to understand technical food and production requirements along with understanding food costing.
- Strong commercial instincts and a genuine relationship-building orientation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management discipline
- Willingness to travel across assigned markets
