Expert-Ease Tutorial Solutions LLP (www.expert-ease.in) is a Mumbai-based edtech platform focused on onboarding academic tutors and co-curricular instructors for students from Pre-Primary to Grade 12. We aim to deliver screen-free, personalised learning experiences at students’ homes, bridging the gap between quality educators and learners.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Mumbai-based Operations & Business Development Manager to oversee and streamline daily operations while managing a team of Marketing Executives, Operations Executives, and Telesales Executives/Interns.
The candidate will be responsible for driving team performance, process efficiency, lead conversion, and overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise, guide, and monitor the performance of Operations Executives, Telesales Interns, and Marketing Interns
- Set clear KPIs, targets, and performance benchmarks for the team
- Conduct regular training, feedback sessions, and performance reviews
- Ensure accountability and productivity across all team members
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end operations—from lead generation to successful onboarding of tutors and parents
- Ensure smooth execution of daily workflows, scheduling, and coordination of classes
- Monitor and improve processes for tutor onboarding, client servicing, and documentation
- Maintain high service quality and quick resolution of parent/teacher queries
Business Development
- Track inbound and outbound leads and ensure timely follow-ups
- Monitor conversion funnels and optimize telesales performance
- Support the team in closing high-value or critical leads
- Supervise online and offline lead generation activities
- Analyze team performance and suggest data-driven improvements
- Share daily/weekly/monthly reports with founders
Field Visits
- Visit B.Ed., Degree Colleges and co-curricular institutions to expand business
- Actively participate in arranging and conducting placement drives, marketing events and job fairs
- Seek appropriate vendors/clients to promote digital/offline business
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Operations/Marketing preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, team handling, or similar roles
- Must be based in Mumbai
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills (English + Hindi/Marathi)
- Experience in telesales, customer handling, or edtech/startup environment is a plus
- Proficient in tools like Google Sheets, CRM tools, and WhatsApp Business
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a hybrid (remote + field) environment
