Rārus design studio is a boutique design studio specialising in Branding & Identity, UI/UX, and print & packaging. We partner with founders, brands, and companies to create design that's strategic, intentional, and lasting.
We're looking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to own our growth. You'll be the person who gets us in the room — identifying the right clients, building relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and making sure the right people know who we are. This is a active role; you'll be out there creating opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities across industries - startups, D2C brands, agencies, and corporates.
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach → discovery → proposal → close
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using CRM tools
- Craft pitch decks, proposals, and capability documents in collaboration with the design team
- Represent the studio at networking events, industry meetups, and conferences
- Develop and execute the studio's marketing presence - social media, case studies, newsletter, and website content
- Build partnerships with complementary agencies, consultants, and referral partners
- Track metrics: leads, conversion rates, revenue targets, and client acquisition costs
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing - ideally within a design, creative, or agency environment
- A genuine appreciation for design and the ability to articulate its value to clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - you can write a sharp cold email and run a confident client meeting
- Self-starter who thrives without heavy supervision
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Notion, or similar)
- Bonus: an existing network in the brand, startup, or marketing ecosystem
