Business Development/Marketing Manager – Molecular Diagnostics

3D Genomix Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is building an advanced molecular diagnostics platform focused on cancer diagnostics, precision oncology, genomics, pathology, and clinically actionable testing solutions.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development and Marketing Manager – Molecular Diagnostics to join our growing team in Odisha. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, life sciences, or clinical laboratory business development, with a clear understanding of the diagnostics and genomics market.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, acquiring new clients, and expanding our presence across hospitals, oncology centers, pathology networks, research institutions, and healthcare partners.
A key responsibility will be to engage with oncologists, clinicians, hospital administrators, pathologists, and laboratory teams to understand their requirements for NGS testing, molecular diagnostics, IHC, FISH, histopathology, and related pathology services. The candidate will help identify clinical needs, build long-term relationships, and support the adoption of advanced diagnostic solutions in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies for molecular diagnostics, oncology testing, pathology, and genomics services.
- Build relationships with hospitals, oncologists, clinicians, pathologists, research institutions, and healthcare organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s client base across Odisha and neighboring regions.
- Promote services related to NGS testing, cancer genomics, molecular diagnostics, IHC, FISH, and histopathology.
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in diagnostics and precision oncology.
- Represent the company at meetings, conferences, hospital visits, and industry events.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Healthcare Management, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant business development experience in healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, life sciences, or clinical laboratory services.
- Strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, oncology testing, genomics, or pathology services.
- Existing relationships with hospitals, clinicians, oncologists, pathologists, or diagnostic networks will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to generate leads, develop partnerships, manage accounts, and execute growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a growing healthcare startup environment.
