Business Development Manager - Textile Chemicals ( Mumbai & Delhi & Rajasthan)
Job Description:
1. Business Development
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for textile chemical products covering pretreatment, dyeing, printing, and finishing chemicals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
2. Promotional Activities
- Should have strong connections with direct customers and end-users to promote and sell products and generate new revenue opportunities for the company.
- Collaborate closely with distributors and agents to create effective promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Provide support and resources to enhance the performance of the distribution network.
3. Shop Floor Trials
- Plan, organize, and conduct shop floor trials for textile chemical products to demonstrate product efficacy and address technical concerns.
- Gather feedback from trials and collaborate with the R&D team for product improvement, if necessary.
4. Business Expansion
- Identify potential areas for business expansion in the textile industry and develop strategies to enter new markets.
- Appoint distributors and establish partnerships to facilitate growth and strengthen market presence.
5. Market Survey & Database
- Identify new market opportunities, customer base, product requirements, and regional business potential.
6. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and regional customer preferences.
- Formulate and execute tailored sales strategies to establish brand awareness and penetrate new market segments.
7. Reporting
- The candidate will report to the CEO.
Desired Candidate Profile:
1. Experience
- 10 – 15 years of overall experience in the textile industry.
- Preferably:
5 – 7 years of experience in textile processing/production division.
· 5 – 7 years of experience in sales and marketing of textile chemicals.
- Strong exposure to textile processing industries and customer handling.
- Experience in managing distributors and direct industrial customers preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas for business development activities.
2. Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of textile processing processes and systems, including knowledge of industry standards and compliance.
3. Communication Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Education
- B.Tech in Textile Technology / Textile Chemistry.
