About BTEC Universities
BTEC Universities is an authorized recruitment partner for leading institutions across the UK, Europe, and Australia including La Trobe University, University of Reading, Aberystwyth, and POLIMI Graduate School of Management. We operate from the UAE and are building our India presence from Kochi.
The role
You will be the first point of contact for prospective students counselling them from initial inquiry through to enrollment. You'll own your own pipeline, work directly with the Director, and represent BTEC at school and community events.
What you'll do
• Counsel students and families on study abroad pathways (UG, PG, PhD)
• Convert inquiries from WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins into enrollments
• Manage student applications end-to-end across partner universities
• Build relationships with schools and coaching centers for referral pipeline
• Meet monthly and quarterly enrollment targets
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot)
What we're looking for
• 2–3 years in student counselling or study abroad advisory
• Strong knowledge of UK, Australia, or European university admissions
• Excellent communication in English and Malayalam
• Self-motivated comfortable working in a startup environment
• Experience with WhatsApp-based outreach is a plus
