Job Title: Business Development Manager – Salesforce Solutions
1. Position: Business Development Manager
2. Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Past experience in handling quota-based roles.
- Identify, target, and secure new clients for Salesforce services.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, quotes, and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical consultants and project managers, to ensure smooth project handovers
2. Lead Generation & Deal Closure:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in line with company goals.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable deals while maintaining client satisfaction.
3. Relationship Management:
- Leverage and expand your network within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce implementation partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce account executives and partner managers.
4. Client Engagement:
- Conduct discovery sessions with potential clients to understand business challenges and present tailored Salesforce solutions.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches and demonstrations that highlight the value of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related services.
5. Industry Presence:
- Actively participate in Salesforce conferences, events, and webinars to stay updated on industry trends and to network with potential clients and partners.
- Represent the company at Salesforce events and collaborate with the marketing team to maximize event impact.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in selling Salesforce services.
- Experience working with Salesforce implementation partners and navigating Salesforce’s partner ecosystem.
- Strong connections and relationships within the Salesforce community, including attendance at Salesforce events and conferences (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tour).
- Excellent understanding of Salesforce products and their business applications.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrations is an advantage.
- Experience in CRM or SaaS sales is a bonus.
