Key Responsibilities (BDM - Sales):
1. Market Expansion:
o Identify and explore new business opportunities in existing and untapped markets.
o Develop and implement strategies to penetrate high-growth industries such as, Industrial automation, Building management System, Construction, Manufacturing ,OEMS & others.
2. Strategic Partnerships:
o Build and maintain relationships with consultants, end customer, electrical contractor & system integrators to drive revenue growth.
o Collaborate with customers to understand unique requirements and offer tailored solutions.
3. Customer Acquisition:
o Drive lead generation, prospecting, and acquisition of new customers.
o Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to identify potential clients and market trends.
4. Sales & Revenue Growth:
o Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, contributing directly to the company's revenue goals.
5. Product Promotion:
o Leverage technical expertise to position Agilon’s specialized cables as premium solutions for niche markets.
o Conduct presentations and demonstrations to educate clients about product offerings.
6. Market Intelligence:
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
o Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management for decision-making.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the Cables & Wires , electrical, or industrial automation industries.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of wires and cables for diverse application.
• Skills:
o Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
o Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Other Attributes:
o Willingness to travel extensively.
o Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
