Role Description
We need a Business Development Manager with skincare/haircare experience.
Target Customers: Manufacturers of skincare products (creams, serums, lotions), haircare products (shampoos, conditioners, hair oils), and baby care products
Products to Sell: Active ingredients, emollients, emulsifiers, preservatives, surfactants, functional additives, and specialized skincare/haircare ingredients
Job Responsibilities
- Drive new business development with skincare, haircare, and baby care manufacturers across India
- Build relationships with personal care manufacturers and understand their formulation needs
- Achieve sales targets in the skincare/haircare vertical
- Collaborate with our applications lab on skincare and haircare formulations
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in personal care
- Guide Business Development Executives in the team
- Represent company at skincare/haircare industry events
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- B.Pharma / M.Pharma OR
- B.Tech (Cosmetology) OR
- B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in sales/marketing to skincare/haircare manufacturers
- Understanding of skincare and haircare formulations
- Knowledge of active ingredients, emollients, preservatives, and surfactants used in personal care
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical discussions with formulators
- Proficiency in GSuite and MS Office
COMPENSATION
CTC: ₹7-9 LPA (including variable)
