We are a fast-growing organisation in the coaching and personal development space, working with high-calibre individuals, executives, and organisations across international markets. We are looking for a driven, articulate, and relentlessly proactive Business Development Manager to lead our growth engine.
This is not a passive sales role. We need someone who finds the opportunity before it finds us. Someone who wakes up thinking about the pipeline, communicates with authority and warmth, and knows exactly how to guide a high-value prospect from first touchpoint to signed deal.
𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪
• Own the complete BD process: market research, prospecting, outreach, qualification, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closure, with full accountability at every stage.
• Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in international coaching, leadership, and personal transformation markets, targeting organisations and individuals suited to our premium programmes.
• Conduct compelling virtual meetings and discovery calls that build genuine rapport and convert prospect interest into confirmed commitment.
• Manage a structured pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring every lead is nurtured and progressed with discipline and consistency.
• Develop and execute market entry strategies for new international geographies, including market research, competitive analysis, and persona profiling.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align outreach campaigns with live BD priorities.
• Report to senior leadership with data-driven updates on pipeline health, conversion metrics, and emerging market opportunities.
𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦
• 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Generate a consistent flow of qualified leads via LinkedIn, personalised email sequences, cold calling, referral networks, and strategic partnerships.
• 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴: Research and map target markets to identify new segments, trends, high-value organisations, and key decision-makers.
• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵: Craft tailored outreach messages across email, LinkedIn, and phone that spark curiosity and open doors with the right people.
• 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Lead discovery conversations to understand prospect goals, challenges, and readiness, and determine fit for our high-ticket programmes.
• 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Host engaging video calls that build rapport, communicate our value proposition, and move prospects towards a buying decision.
• 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Apply consultative sales techniques to close premium deals, handle objections with empathy, and secure commitment on programmes valued at $5,000 to $50,000 and above.
• 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: Develop long-term relationships with key contacts and partners that generate referrals, warm introductions, and repeat business.
• 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals with full pipeline visibility.
• 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Represent the company with professionalism, confidence, and integrity in every interaction.
• 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽: Bring market intelligence and competitor insights back to leadership to inform pricing, positioning, and strategy.
𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
• 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Minimum 3 to 7 years in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and exceeding revenue targets.
• 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Native or near-native written and spoken English. Grammar, tone, and audience-adaptive communication are non-negotiable.
• 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Experience selling into or working within the coaching or personal development space.
• 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Proven record of generating and closing business across multiple international markets.
• 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Personally closed deals of $10,000 or above and can articulate your process, close rate, and average deal size.
• 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold email, video outreach, direct messaging, and referral systems.
• 𝗖𝗥𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: Proficient in HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Lemlist, or similar platforms.
• 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: You identify opportunities, build plans, and execute with urgency, without needing to be managed.

• Maintain 30 to 50 qualified prospects in the pipeline at all times.
• Improve lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-close conversion rates continuously.
• Submit weekly pipeline reports and monthly performance summaries to leadership.
