Role Overview
The Business Development Manager – MBBS Abroad is an individual contributor role responsible for driving lead generation and student enrollments through educator and institutional partnerships within the assigned territory. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with NEET coaching centres, mentors, teachers, and education consultants to expand MetaApply’s MBBS Abroad admissions network.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships with NEET coaching centres, educators, mentors, and education consultants to generate quality MBBS Abroad leads.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with educator partners to ensure a consistent pipeline of referrals.
- Conduct orientation sessions, seminars, and webinars for educators to explain MetaApply’s MBBS Abroad offerings, admission process, and value proposition.
- Drive student counseling support by coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth lead handling and conversion.
- Achieve assigned lead generation and enrollment targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Track partner performance, follow up on leads, and ensure timely closure of admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, leads, and conversions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local ATL/BTL activities, events, and campaigns in the assigned territory.
- Share market insights, competitor information, and feedback from partners with the reporting manager.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and data privacy standards.
- Represent MetaApply at local education fairs, events, and industry forums as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in education, study abroad, or MBBS admissions).
- Proven ability to independently manage partners and meet targets in a field-based role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Result-oriented mindset with strong follow-up and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
