Business Development Manager - Marketing Solutions

The Role
We're looking for a sharp, driven Business Development Manager to grow our client portfolio. This is a hunting role — you'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, working closely with core team to bring in the right clients. If you've thrived in an agency environment, love the thrill of a well-crafted pitch, and understand the nuance of B2B buying decisions, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across our service lines
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle — outreach, discovery, proposal, pitch, and closure
- Build and nurture relationships with senior marketing and HR decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations
- Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline and report on it with clarity
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Spot expansion opportunities within existing client relationships
What We're Looking For
- 7-10 years of experience in business development or client acquisition, preferably at a marketing, communications, or creative agency
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing — you know how B2B brands think, buy, and measure
- Proven track record of independently closing deals, not just supporting pitches
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — written and verbal
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex buying processes
- Self-starter who thrives without a large support structure around them
- Experience with employer branding, events, or performance marketing is a plus
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus but not required.
