Role Description
This full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon focuses on the Business Development Manager/Marketing Manager position at the company’s Glass Plant. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing marketing strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and overseeing sales operations. The role also involves market analysis to identify trends, preparing proposals, and collaborating across teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Sales Strategy formulation
- Proficiency in Market Analysis, Competitor Research, and Data-Driven Decision Making
- Experience in Marketing Campaigns and Brand Positioning
- Proficiency in Communication, Negotiation, and Problem-Solving with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets while working in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with the glass manufacturing industry or similar industrial settings is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Business Development/ Marketing of Glass Processing Industry products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Electrical Switch, Lighting Glass, Household Appliances, Automotive Glass & Architectural Glass Industries.
- Promote company products
- Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order closure
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers for repeat business
- Conduct market research to track competitors and pricing trends
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams for order execution
- Prepare daily visit reports and sales updates
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Mapping competitors for development of new products & prices
- Focus on quality and cost/ Transaction cost reduction/ On time delivery to minimize inventory & to meet product development timeline.
- Preparation of quotations & Samples, costing and finalization.
- Coordinate with design & development, production planning and assembly department.
- Cost Saving initiatives through alternate sourcing, negotiation.
- Good understanding of Glass Product manufacturing processes
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized
