Experience Required
• 8–15 years of experience in business development or technical sales of LV/MV electrical panels.
• Proven track record of selling to industrial, commercial, solar, data centre, infrastructure, and EPC clients.
• Strong exposure to PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD panels, solar ACDB/DCDB, and intelligent distribution systems.
• Experience working with OEM-authorized panel builders (Schneider/ABB/Siemens/L&T preferred).
• Strong network within industrial clusters and EPC contractors.
• Understanding of tendering, techno-commercial negotiations, and project execution cycles.
Role Purpose
To build and expand the LV & MV panel business across diversified industrial and infrastructure segments, ensuring consistent order inflow, improved customer mix, and sustainable revenue growth to achieve high factory capacity utilization.
Job Description
A. Market Development & Segment Expansion
• Identify and develop new customer segments beyond government utilities.
• Focus on Industrial Manufacturing, Solar EPC, Data Centres, EV Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, and Infrastructure projects.
• Develop territory-specific growth strategy.
B. Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
• Generate qualified leads through plant visits, EPC networking, consultants, and industry associations.
• Maintain structured CRM and forecast monthly order pipeline.
• Ensure minimum 3x revenue coverage in sales pipeline.
C. Customer Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with Plant Heads, Electrical Heads, Consultants, and Purchase Managers.
• Position company as reliable, compliant, and safety-focused panel manufacturer.
D. Technical & Commercial Coordination
• Coordinate with Product Manager and Engineering team for technical submissions.
• Lead techno-commercial negotiations.
• Protect margins while ensuring competitive positioning.
E. Order Conversion & Revenue Growth
• Achieve quarterly and annual order booking targets.
• Improve private sector revenue share.
• Ensure healthy advance and payment terms.
F. Strategic Partnerships
• Develop relationships with OEM panel builder programs.
• Build network with consultants and electrical contractors.
• Identify repeat and annual rate contract opportunities.
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Annual order booking value.
• Revenue growth from private industrial and infrastructure segments.
• Number of new key accounts acquired.
• Gross margin percentage on booked orders.
• Conversion ratio (Enquiry to Order).
• Payment cycle improvement (DSO reduction).
• Contribution to achieving 85% factory capacity utilization.
