🔹 Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and techno-commercial Business Unit Champ to lead and drive our Infrastructure & Cloud portfolio. This is a client-facing, presales-driven role, acting as a critical bridge between the Sales team and clients.
The role involves solution design, proposal creation, and strategic positioning of infrastructure and cloud offerings, ensuring alignment with client business goals and driving revenue growth.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Positioning & Strategy
- Develop strong techno-commercial expertise across Infrastructure & Cloud services, including:
- Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Compute & End-User Devices: Laptops, Hardware, Servers
- Storage Solutions
- Virtualization & Data Centre Infrastructure
- Define and articulate value propositions for infrastructure and cloud solutions
- Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes such as cost optimization, scalability, and high availability
2. Techno-Commercial Presales
- Collaborate with the Sales team to assess client infrastructure environments and recommend solutions (cloud migration, server setup, storage optimization, EUC)
- Develop pricing models, BOQs, rate cards, and cost estimates
- Ensure proposals are competitive, scalable, and profitable
3. Proposal & Bid Management
- Create end-to-end proposals (RFPs/RFQs) including SOW, BOM, and commercials
- Design solution architectures (cloud + on-prem infrastructure)
- Present and defend solutions and pricing in client discussions
4. Proactive Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts (cloud adoption, infra upgrades, hardware refresh, AMC contracts)
- Act as a trusted advisor for scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
- Support revenue growth and portfolio expansion
🔹 Experience Required
- 2+ years in Pre-Sales / Cloud / Infrastructure / Solution Engineering
- Experience with IT services, system integrators, or cloud solution providers
- Exposure to infrastructure projects, cloud deployments, or managed services
🔹 Core Skills
Techno-Commercial Acumen
- Ability to align infrastructure & cloud solutions with business outcomes (ROI, cost efficiency, scalability)
Infrastructure & Cloud Expertise
- Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Compute: Laptops, Servers, End-User Devices
- Storage Solutions
- Basic understanding of virtualization and data centre environments
Documentation & Communication
- Strong expertise in SOW, BOQ, proposals, and client presentations
Sales Orientation
- Proactive, growth-driven mindset with ability to support and influence revenue targets
🔹 Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with OEM ecosystems and cloud marketplaces
- Understanding of cloud architecture, compute sizing, and storage planning
