Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts. As a non-technical founder's right hand in revenue generation, you will be responsible for identifying B2B opportunities, running consultative sales cycles, closing deals, and acting as the primary bridge between our clients and our technical delivery teams. The ideal candidate is a "hunter" who understands software concepts and excels at selling digital solutions to businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential B2B clients across specific industries who require custom software, web development, or IT solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery calls to understand the client's operational bottlenecks and pitch tailored software solutions that solve those exact problems.
- Contract Negotiation & Protection: Draft, negotiate, and finalise service proposals. You will be responsible for enforcing strict company contract standards, including securing mandatory full payment clauses even if content or project targets are delayed due to a lack of raw materials from the client.
- IP Management: Ensure all client and vendor engagements are bound by strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), explicitly maintaining that all work products, codebases, and candidate pipelines remain the exclusive property of the company.
- Client Handoff: Seamlessly transition closed deals to the technical delivery team (or external partners) and maintain high-level account management to ensure client satisfaction and secure upsells.
