Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager specializing in IT Sales, based in Hyderabad. The individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing sales strategies. Daily tasks include managing and improving the sales pipeline, conducting market research, creating proposals, and collaborating with the internal team to meet client needs. The role requires strong negotiation skills, active engagement in client meetings, and achieving revenue targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in IT services and SaaS solutions
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and inbound leads
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand business reach
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demos
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions
- Lead end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation → negotiation → deal closure
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams for successful execution
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales in IT Services / SaaS
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing large deals
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and IT service offerings
- Experience with B2B sales, enterprise clients, and global markets preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build C-level relationships and influence decision-makers
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and strategic thinker
