Job Purpose: The role is focused on driving business growth in the Government (Govt) vertical for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing tender processes, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets across Govt departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Solution Selling
- Promote ELV product portfolio including:
- CCTV Cameras & Surveillance Systems
- IP PBX with Unified Communication
- Audio-Visual (AV) Systems
- Data Networking Products
- Access Control
- Fire Detection & Hydrant systems
- BMS
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
2. Govt Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Government departments.
- Generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline for ELV solutions.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
3. Tendering & Proposal Management
- Track and participate in Govt tenders (GeM, e-procurement portals, etc.).
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams for OEMs/vendors for quotations, compliance, and documentation.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Govt officers and decision-makers.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Ensure long-term engagement and repeat business.
5. Coordination & Closure
- Work closely with internal technical and project teams for solution design and execution support.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Ensure timely order closure and payment follow-ups.
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain records of leads, tenders, and sales activities in CRM.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Update management on market trends and competitor activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales target achievement
- Number of tenders participated & won
- Pipeline growth and conversion rate
- Revenue from Govt accounts
- Client acquisition & retention
Requisite Skills:
- Experience in handling large Govt accounts
- OEM/vendor coordination experience
- Strong network within Govt departments
- Strong understanding of Government procurement processes (GeM, nProcure).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Education & Experience
- BBA/MBA in Marketing, B.E./Diploma (Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in Govt sales, preferably in ELV/IT solutions
