As we enter our next phase of aggressive global expansion, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help scale our client base multifold and strengthen our market leadership position.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, identifying strategic opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and expanding our footprint across global e-commerce ecosystems.
The ideal candidate should have experience in SaaS, ERP, e-commerce technology, marketplace ecosystems, or enterprise software sales, along with a strong understanding of online seller operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across global markets.
- Drive lead generation through outbound sales, partnerships, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Develop growth strategies to expand the company’s customer base
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Engage with e-commerce brands, aggregators, D2C businesses, marketplaces, and enterprise sellers.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and consultative sales discussions.
- Acquire sellers in UK who are willing to work in UK and also globally in e-commerce space or who are already working in e-commerce and require ERP and Build long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer pain points and align ERP solutions accordingly.
Strategic Partnerships
- Establish alliances with marketplaces, agencies, logistics providers, payment platforms, and technology partners.
- Explore channel partnerships and reseller opportunities globally.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and networking forums.
Market Intelligence & Expansion
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Identify high-growth markets and verticals for expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with product, data engineering, IT, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure seamless client acquisition and retention.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
- Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- 4 - 8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, SaaS sales, ERP solutions, or e-commerce technology.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, marketplaces, and ERP ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise relationships.
- Experience working in international markets is highly preferred.
- Strong Fluency in speaking in English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ERP platforms, marketplace integrations, OMS/WMS/PIM solutions, or SaaS products.
- Familiarity with Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, eBay, Magento, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce ecosystems.
- Strong networking and partnership-building capabilities.
- Data-driven mindset with analytical thinking.
