About the Role
Eximple Technology is looking for a motivated Ocean Freight Sales Manager to help grow our export logistics business. The role focuses on acquiring SME exporters, importers managing freight sales, and building long-term customer relationships while supporting efficient international shipping operations.
Position OverviewKey ResponsibilitiesOcean Freight Sales
- Identify, approach, and onboard SME exporters/importer requiring ocean freight services.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across key export sectors.
- Convert leads into active shipping customers and drive repeat shipment volume.
- Provide competitive freight quotations and advise clients on shipping routes, transit times, and cost optimization.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with exporters to increase shipment volume.
- Understand customer shipping needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Freight Coordination
- Work closely with operations and logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Assist in resolving shipment issues and ensuring timely export movements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, logistics sales, or export logistics.
- Understanding of ocean freight pricing, shipping routes, and export processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Ability to build relationships with exporters and logistics partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, logistics sales, or export logistics.
- Proven track record of successful lead generation and client onboarding.
- Strong understanding of ocean freight pricing, shipping routes, and export processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and logistics partners.
- Relevant certifications in logistics or sales (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional, Freight Forwarding Certification) are a plus.
