Role Overview
Drive supply growth by acquiring and managing partnerships with hotels, guest houses, and serviced apartments. Ideal for candidates with prior experience at OYO, http://Booking.com, Agoda, or similar OTA/hospitality platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Property Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and onboard independent hotels, guest houses, and budget properties in Chennai
- Portfolio Management: Manage existing partner accounts to maximize room nights, revenue, and ratings
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate commission structures, inventory allocation, rate parity, and promotional campaigns
- Performance Optimization: Analyze property performance data and recommend pricing, availability, and content improvements to boost bookings
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, demand trends, and pricing in Chennai market
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work with onboarding, operations, revenue, and support teams for seamless property go-live and issue resolution
- Target Achievement: Deliver monthly/quarterly KPIs on property sign-ups, GMV, and revenue
Requirements
- 2-5 years in B2B sales, business development, or account management
- Preferred: Prior experience at OYO, http://Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda, FabHotels, Treebo, or similar hospitality tech platforms
- Strong understanding of OTA business models, commission structures, and hotel operations
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and data analysis skills
- Fluent in English and Tamil; knowledge of Chennai hospitality landscape is a plus
- Willingness for field work and client meetings across Chennai
