Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, closing deals, and creating strategies to expand the customer base. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal teams to align on business goals, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Cyber Security conversation’s with decision makers with a consultative approach.
- Identify and target potential customers in the Mid and Large Enterprise segments and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Engage with key IT and business decision makers from prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and challenges, and provide relevant and effective solutions.
- Present the company's solutions to potential customers, including technical and financial aspects, and demonstrate the value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Presales, and Post sales, to develop and execute a successful sales strategy.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with potential customers, ensuring that terms and conditions are favourable for both parties.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Maintain good relationship with the respective OEM’s and Distributor community
- Maintain regular cadence calls with the OEM’s and have a clear plan of execution for the respective solutions.
Qualifications
- Engineering or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 6-10years of experience in IT solution sales (Cyber Security and Networking)
- Good Knowledge of IT Infrastructure components.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethics and willing to learn.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
